July 12th has always been a day to be celebrated in our family. You see, today would be my grandfather's birthday. Sadly, he is not here with us to celebrate anymore but the day still holds importance. The Lord has provided me another reason to celebrate today even in Papa's absence; today is one of my best friends birthdays!
Is the Lord good or what?
I would like to wish a great big happy birthday to my Papa, who I know I will see again! I wish that he were here to celebrate and take part in life's milestones with us all, but I am thankful that he is healed and whole beside our Lord in heaven. Grandpa, I love and miss you so much!

I would also like to wish Matt a very happy birthday. Matt, you truly are one of my best friends and I am so grateful for our friendship and banter that is shared! It was a joy to see you while I was in Florida last week! AND, congrats on your new job at CSX!
