Its 2009!?!?

Okay, so where did the last year go? They say that the older you get the fast time goes by, and I believe that! December 28th was one year since Grandpas death, the entire family went to church with Gram that Sunday and wore yellow because it was Papa's favorite color. Its unbelievable to think that he has been gone over a year now. Wow.

On the 29th, I packed my bags and hit the road with my road trip buddy Jessie to go see Josh and Keri in Lynchburg. We spend the week at Josh's apartment and rang in the new year at Jeremy Camp concert, it was AMAZING. I have come to the general conclusion that we all have way to much fun together! It was great to have a whole week off and do nothing but sleep in, watch movies, play in the snow, go to concerts and eat lots and lots of ice cream :) It snowed while we were in Lynchburg, and actually snowed while we were leaving to come back to Florida. My little silver civic has been initiated with snow! We took a day trip to a nearby ski resort (Wintergreen) where Josh's friend Connor Thomas works. (see Connor, I mentioned you in the blog just like you asked me to!) We got to see snow and Jess made her first ever snow angel. You could def. tell we were the Florida girls because we would only stay out in the snow for like ten minutes and then go inside for 20 to thaw and warm up.

After our trip, it was back to reality for all of us. Classes started on Monday :( and I had several appointments last week at the dentist and oral surgeon. Oh yeah, my wisdom teeth will no longer be a part of me as of Thursday! I will have to let you all know how that goes ;) I will be hosting a movie watching marathon and a bring Emily ice cream or slushies party this weekend, it starts Thursday around 11am and goes straight through until Monday.
