...as promised!
Here they are!! All photos taken by Tina Altman at the Springs Park in Green Cove Springs, Florida. We found the cool pink door on the back of an old theater that has been shut down for sometime. It was a beautiful spot for pictures. Enjoy and leave comments :)

MIA
Sorry I have been MIA recently, so much has been going on in my life and I must update you all :)
1. Stephen was in town last weekend and we had a great time together, as always. We accomplished so much in the wedding planning category! I am pretty sure his head was spinning as I was running around like a chicken with my head cut off...as always. The most important and biggest thing we accomplished was our engagement pictures. I will post more of a preview soon, so stay tuned!
2. It is official that Mother's Day will be my last day at Hallmark. On one hand, this is a sad update; but on the other I know it is the right thing to do. I am looking forward to having weekends off to spend with family and friends and work on more wedding planning. Who knew planning a wedding took up so much time and energy? I am pretty sure I wake up thinking about the wedding and go to sleep thinking about the wedding!
3. WE BOOKED OUR HONEYMOON!!! We are both SO excited and looking forward to spending a week in Kauai, Hawaii. Our awesome travel agent is taking care of everything and I have caught myself daydreaming about it more than once :)
Okay, now onto what you are all waiting for...engagement pictures...enjoy!

Blessed Weekend :)
This weekend was AMAZING! I had been looking forward to having a weekend off for a couple of weeks and it turned out to be everything I imagined! My weekend started on Good Friday since the office was closed for the holiday weekend. I spent Friday morning sleeping and then had a productive afternoon shopping for wedding stuff. I was on a quest for flowers and really just getting ideas for wedding decor more than anything but ended up find invitations that matched our colors perfectly and getting an amazing deal on them too. Invitations and response cards purchased-check.

Saturday morning I had an appointment at David's Bridal at 10 a.m. The morning started a little earlier than that though with some friends at a local cafe for breakfast. After a delicious egg white omelet and chocolate peanut butter pie we were on our way the David's. My Mom and Grandma met us there too. I told Stephanie who was my consultant what dresses I thought I liked from looking at the website. She pulled a lot of dresses and I started trying them on. The second one was "the one". Granted there were hundreds...okay, several dresses in between the second one and the time I put it back on again and said "this is it". I had no idea how much work it is to put those dresses on and off...Keri and I worked up a sweat!

It feels great to have found my dream dress and ordered it. I am so anxious for it to come in so we can begin alterations :) On top of finding my dress, we also got the bridesmaid dresses picked out and 2 have been ordered. The jr. bridesmaid dresses and the flower girl dresses were also picked out and finalized. Thinking back on Saturday, I am not sure how we made all those decisions but it feels great to be this far into planning!

Easter Sunday was also enjoyable and had nothing to do with wedding planning. The weather here was so beautiful so we spent the afternoon outside soaking up the sun and floating in the pool. It was so nice to relax and not stress or worry about anything. I even got to take a Sunday Nap...glorious.
I hope you all had a great Easter weekend as well. He is Risen, He is Risen Indeed!!More posts about wedding planning coming soon :) Have a great week!
