Almost back to normal :)

I have resumed operating life at my normal pace :) Well, almost. I have an appointment on Thursday to have the stitches removed. Let me just tell you, that I am SO over eating soft foods. Can I have some chicken wings please?!?!? (side note, Yes I officially eat chicken wings now!) I am really excited to be able to actually eat food with substance, I have had about all the Jello and ice cream I can handle!

Over the weekend, we had a fun girls day on Sunday. My Mom and I went to the movies with Keri (BFF since age 2) and her Mom to see Bride Wars. It was hilarious, and defiantly worth seeing in the theaters. Keri and I went on a scavenger hunt for food I could eat in the mall food court and we were quite successful. First we stopped at the pizza place and got spaghetti noodles, and soft bread sticks. Then we hit the smoothie cafe for smoothies and lastly we got the best cupcake ever from CamiCakes. Sharing a cupcake was genius because I could totally eat the icing which is my favorite part and Keri could have the cake which is her favorite part! This little cupcake was a piece of heaven, I am pretty sure. Yumm! Needless to say, our Mothers laughed at us and our movie feast when we met them at the Theater :) It was a great way to end a post surgery weekend!


My to-do list this week is pretty detailed, hopefully I can get everything done before Stephen comes on Friday (YAY). One thing has been taken off my list already though-finish my 2008 scrapbook. This is a HUGE accomplishment and I was very excited when the last page was complete!
