Rehearsal 101

Our rehearsal dinner was perfect. I do not feel like I am exaggerating at all. We all met at the church on time…with the exception of Brummitt which was expected. Just kidding Matt, your timing was near perfect. We began running through everything for the ceremony…where to stand, when to walk, how to stand, etc, etc. Brother Ron kept asking me if I wanted to do it again and of course I said yes. We probably ran through the entire ceremony at least 4 times. At that point I felt comfortable and we headed to the dinner that was oh.so.yummy!

Dinner was at a local Mexican restaurant called La Nopalera, or La Nop. It is the best Mexican I have ever had…granted, there are some Mexican restaurants in our current town that we will be trying out and they may give La Nop a run for my #1 spot! We all ordered and had a great time together. The food was of course delicious and company great too.

It was nice for everyone to get together in a casual environment and get to know each other. Our Jr. Bridesmaids and Flower Girls were near the same age and had never met, but within 10 minutes of meeting they were best friends and always together. They even held hands walking down the aisle on our wedding day. They were so cute, and beautiful in the wedding attire and dresses!

Overall the rehearsal was great; everyone enjoyed the food and evening. Even Grandma Highhouse who was skeptical about a Mexican Dinner enjoyed her food! All had a good time! Here is the evidence:
