Weekend Wrap Up :)

So excited about some of the pictures I get to share with this post! I am not sure if I can outline all the details of our weekend, but I will try :) We had a BUSY (bold, italic and underlined...yep!) weekend, but it was great! Our Friday started out very, very exciting...for me....wait for it.....

WE HAD SNOW! Yep, it started snowing while I was at work on Friday. At first the flurries were so tiny you really had to focus your eyes to see them, but they grew to larger wet flakes. I was in awe! It snowed for a little while at work, then when I went home it had stopped :( The Mr. texted me and said he thought it would be snowing again soon because he just drove through some snow showers (is that what they are called?) so I went outside wrapped in a blanket and coat and waited for it. It came! It snowed pretty hard while I was sitting out on our balcony...I really was so excited, like a kid at Christmas. I took many pictures and some of myself in my excitement too since The Mr. was not home from work yet to enjoy and share in the excitement with me!

Can you see the flurries flying everywhere?!?!
The Florida Honda has been initiated to IN now :)

After he got home from work we quickly headed to FaithQuest (FQ) send off and then had some really awesome pizza with his parents at Pizza King. At this point it was near 9:30 or 10pm so we decided to go back to the apartment and squeeze grocery shopping in another day. After we got home we decided we really wanted to get the Wal-Mart trip over with, so we ventured back out at around 10:30. Wal-Mart at 10:30 on a Friday night ended up being a good THE BEST DECISION because it was nearly empty...woohoo! By the time we got home and the groceries unloaded, we were exhausted and went to bed pretty quickly!

Saturday came way too quickly and all the snow had melted-insert sad face here :( I was able to talk The Mr. into some shopping without twisting his arm! MIRACLE! We had run running around town and picking up some things for ourselves...and we got several outstanding deals. I like store that have pre Black Friday Sales! I did  get started on our wedding scrapbook too, which made me very happy. I got a lot accomplished while The Mr. watched some football games. Now I can't wait to work on it again!

Saturday night we headed North (I think we went North...) for FQ Faith Walk and it was freezing, but I am excited because I got to test my new Eddie Bauer Parka that arrived last week *insert excited squeal here, ekkk! It did it's job and kept me warm! I cannot even begin to tell you how many layers of clothing I had one, but I sure was warm. My hands actually started to sweat as we stood outside! After the walk we went out for dinner and home...agh, my bed was calling my name!

Can you see me under there?!

Sunday we went to church with Stephen's sister and her family. We went to their house to start our laundry before Sunday School and ran back there several times throughout the day to switch and dry clothes; we are so thankful that we can use their laundry room instead of paying to wash our clothes! Sunday was a full day of Sunday School, church, laundry, basketball games, more laundry, FQ Summit (closing) and Mexican dinner...then bed.

Told you we had a good, busy weekend! I wanted it to keep going but as promised...Monday showed up! Hopefully this week my body will get used to the new time change and get back on my routine. Hope everyone else had a great weekend too! See you next time :)
