...and that someone is me! :)
Yesterday, together with friends from work and my wonderful husband I celebrated being alive for a quarter of a century. It feels so weird to say that. I am actually 25 years old. Question: when are you for real an adult? When you buy a house? Have kids? Pay all your own bills? Go to college? I am not sure what the answer is, but I know that I do not feel like an adult yet. I still feel like a kid who likes to have fun and act crazy sometimes (safe, but silly crazy).
I hope that I never actually feel old and adult like!
Sorry for the poor quality phone picture of my meal!
The ladies from my department at work took me to lunch yesterday at Cerulean's-which I love! I had their yummy chicken over sticky rice and enjoyed every single bite! We had a great time laughing at each other trying to master eating with chop-stix and I especially liked watching Becky teach Shauna how to eat edamame (seen below). It was a great time!
For dinner, my amazing husband let me pick what I wanted and then he cook (and cleaned up!). Since it was my choice, I picked tacos because that is one of my favorite at home meals and it is so easy! Stephen had everything ready when I walked in the door from work, so we ate right away. After dinner we wanted to walk down to the Wednesday evening farmers market but might have missed it because I got caught up in taking pictures...
We did go for a walk, but we missed out on the market. The weather was so nice last night so we did not mind the walk. We did get to see carnival rides being set up for our towns "Fun Fest" this weekend. I am sad that we are going to miss it because we will be in Chicago. Good news though: it technically starts tonight so we should be able to venture around and check some stuff out after Stephen's softball games!
We ended the evening with birthday cupcakes (made by yours truly) which milk. I had a difficult time deciding what flavor cupcakes I wanted to make for my birthday, but I decided on golden yellow butter cake with chocolate butter cream frosting. Oh my! They were delicious. Milk was needed though, so it was good that we had some in the fridge!
This birthday was a great one...even if I did turn half a century old. I felt so loved and blessed all day long yesterday; especially each time I checked my email (thank you FB wall posting emails)! I know that I have the greatest friends and family a girl could ask for! Thank you so much to everyone who made my day special!
And yes, I ended my night with a cupcake, a little Tim Tebow (great book so far!), and some milk in a wine glass. I am just trying to keep it classy people. Keepin' it classy!

Happy Birthday to you! That sounds like a great day. Sometimes I can't believe I'm an adult and married! I mean, when did that happen??
Happy Birthday!! Glad you had a wonderful day! xoxo
