Hi y'all! I mentioned in my post on Monday that I had been working on a little thing called a baby bucket list. Well, I added a few more things to do and have it ready to share today. Keep in mind (Stephen) that these are just goals to work towards accomplishing before the precious new member of our family arrives. I would be THRILLED/OVER THE MOON excited to have everything completed...but I know that just might not be doable.
Oh and just for kicks and giggles, I asked Stephen to take some bump pictures last night. Granted, the shirt I am wearing is one of my favorites (non-maternity) because it is loose and camouflaging...it was one of my fat day shirts, now it's making a weekly appearance in my wardrobe! Here ya go:
Okay, back to the list:
Baby Bucket List
· Have one garage door working with an opener by Thanksgiving
· Build in closet in master bedroom
· Move jewelry armoire into bathroom
· Move dresser from nursery into master bedroom
· Paint living room & repair ceiling
· Paint Library
· Paint kitchen
· Have windows professionally cleaned
· Have carpets professionally cleaned
· Get bassinet from Florida
· Paint mud-room door
Wants/Needs
· Baby crib
· Changing table/dresser
· Glidder rocker for nursery
· Glidder rocker for living room (check)
· Travel system, stroller and carseat
· A baby!! J
What am I missing or forgetting? I am open to suggestions of tips on how to accomplish everything listed!
Hope you all have a great Wednesday...I am off to work!

I love all the blog updates lately!! I smile every time I see an update from you pop up on my Google Reader. So thrilled for you...just so you know :)
Hey girly, I've got onemore suggestion: try to fit in a special trip for just the two of you before baby gets here. You'll treasure the memories you make on that trip for the rest of your life! You look adorable!
I'd add a breast pump to that list. The good ones are expensive, but so worth it! Even though I don't work, I use mine to pump milk for Jeff (or anyone else) to feed her.
Jeff actually started doing two feedings a night so I could get at least four hours of sleep in a row for weeks 2-6. After that we dropped to one feeding a night and I could handle that. :)
I like the idea of taking a special trip too! Even if it's just a long weekend--you all totally deserve it after all of the work you're going to be doing to get ready for baby!! :) Are you going to find out the gender?
I am so excited to see all your posts! I do not have children, but from my friends i would say the trip is a great idea, the breast pump and also you might want to look into things for Louie to get use to having a baby in the house before Baby D arrives :)
You'll probably want a pack n play with a changing station and bassinet combo for downstairs so you aren't always having to go up and down just to change diapers and for when baby is little and napping they can sleep in their close by while your cooking etc :) plus I can list a bunch of other things but we can just have a phone date and chat sometime soon ;)
I'm surprised there is no landscaping/ flower to do's on your list!
Our list of things to do is SO long! Hahahaha. A baby just needs so much. Okay, maybe it's really just me but everything is so cute! I definitely agree on the "babymoon" vacation for the two of y'all. And I say just relax and enjoy it. Y'all still have a long way to go...enjoy every single moment of being pregnant!!
