is it over yet?

I realize what a privilege education is, yes I do. I also on the other hand realize what a pain in the butt it is. While I really enjoyed some classes along this journey-one this semester is way less than enjoyable. The dreaded (que dramatic music now) college algebra (so what I waited until my last semester to knock this class out?) So, here I am in a class that started out with around 40 students enrolled and currently in the classroom tonight there are 8 of us. 8!!!! Shouldn't that pass all of us anyways? Just that fact that we have stuck it out and spent hours upon hours on the online homework? Hardly.

Point in case: the wonderful (cough, cough) professor of this class asked a simple question tonight, "is anyone in this class expected to graduate in May?" I glance around the room and see no other hands raised, I slowly and timidly put my hand in the air. He laughs and then very sarcastically responds with "I love optimists".

I should have ran from this class after our first meeting! Is the semester over yet?
